The ResponStor mortuary system is a portable, modular body storage unit designed to provide in-situ, dignified storage or to relieve storage pressures in mortuaries and crematoria.

ResponStor addresses problems associated with capacity-limited storage through seasonal changes and limited facilities. A ResponStor can be assembled anywhere in under 30 minutes by 2 people.

Responstor comes in a ‘flat pack’ assembly which is easy to store and transport, whether by a dolly or by forklift. It has a low storage and deployment footprint, and is lightweight.

  • Our standard soft-shell ResponStor provides capacity for 12 persons and includes the following:

    • Lightweight racking

    • Durable shell with velcro openings

    • 12 lightweight, flexible body trays designed to hold up to 190kg (418lbs)

    • Refrigeration and ducting

    • Trolley system* for easy storage and transport

    *The trolley system is included as standard with purchase only and is not supplied with rental units.

    • Can be used indoors and outdoors

    • Suitable for short or long-term use

    • Combine units together to form 6-96 mortuaries

    • ‘Hard’ and ‘Soft’ shells for increased protection

    • No tools required

    • Functional in ambient temperatures of up to 41°C / 105.8°F
